12:40 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of W. Rose St. reported someone hooked his propane tank up to his barbecue last night, turned on the gas and let all the gas out.
1:13 p.m. Police cited a 41-year-old man with offensive littering in the 900 block of F St. A caller had reported the intoxicated man was at her house soliciting for yard work and asking her husband for money. He threw a can of beer.
3:45 p.m. The manager of Wilco Farm Supply reported a pair of Danner Boots and $159 in cash were taken from the store in the 2900 block of S. Santiam Hwy.
8:34 p.m. A driver reported a two-vehicle accident at W. Airport Rd. and S. 7th St. about 10 minutes ago. Drivers exchanged information. Damage: Less than $1,500.
10:23 p.m. Police arrested a 27-year-old man in the 300 block of S. Grove St. for felony fourth-degree assault in the 100 block of E. Oak St. A female caller reported her boyfriend pushed her and tried to slam her head into the floor while she had her baby in her arms. She said she was hit in the head several times and lost consciousness for an unknown period of time. Before police left the scene, the suspect’s mother arrived and attempted to take the victim’s vehicle. The keys were returned to the victim and the suspect’s mother was trespassed from the location.
